Michelle Ulick Rosenthal

Michelle Ulick Rosenthal's first experience with acting was at the age of 7 when she played the lead role of Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. Although her acting career never took off, her parents instilled in her a deep love for the theater which grew out of regular nightly commutes from her childhood home in Palm Springs to Los Angeles and back so that she could experience a wide variety of musicals and plays as well as opera and the symphony.

After graduating with a B.A. from UCLA, Michelle traveled extensively and spent nearly two years living and working in Italy in the cities of Florence, Siena, and Bologna. Upon her return, she moved to the Windy City where she received her master's in public policy/environmental policy from the University of Chicago. She then spent eight years living in Las Vegas where she worked with the Department of Energy and took advantage of Sin City's active and colorful theater scene.

Deciding it was time for a career change, Michelle headed off to rural Virginia where she attended Washington and Lee University School of Law. After graduating cum laude with a J.D., she relocated to the Pacific Northwest and joined the law firm of Short Cressman & Burgess, PLLC (www.scblaw.com), where she works primarily in the areas of environmental, natural resources, and Federal Indian law. Michelle became involved with Showtunes! Inc. in the spring of 2005 as a member of the Board of Directors and as its legal counsel.
