A sure cure for the post holiday blues! Promises, Promises features the music of 60’s chart topper Burt Bacharach and lyricist Hal David. Based on the Billy Wilder film THE APARTMENT and adapted for the stage by Neil Simon. You’ll leave the concert humming the infectious score, which includes the chart topping hit “I’ll Never Fall in Love Again,” “Knowing When to Leave,” as well as the energetic title song.

Timothy McCuen Piggee* (Chuck Baxter)
Ap
peared as Hapgood in Showtunes! inaugural production Anyone Can Whistle. National credits include roles with The Denver Center Theater Company, Kansas City Rep., Milwaukee Rep., Arizona Theatre Company, Pioneer Theater Company and Portland Center Stage among others.  Locally he has appeared at Seattle Rep., Intiman, ACT, 5th Avenue Theatre, Village Theatre, Seattle Children’s Theatre, The Group and Empty Space Theatre’s.  Timothy is an associate professor at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle.

Vickielee Wohlbach* (Fran Kubelik)
Vickielee happily returns to Showtunes! where she has been seen as Gabrielle in Dear World, Giovanna in Do I Hear A Waltz, and as Marie in Fiorello. She has performed locally with Seattle Children’s Theatre, Tacoma Actors Guild, Cabaret de Paris, Village Theatre, ACT, and in new works at The Seattle Rep and Intiman. Favorite roles include The Taming of the Shrew (Katarina), Pump Boys and Dinettes (Rhetta), The Miracle Worker (Annie Sullivan), Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse (Lilly), The Importance of Being Earnest (Cecily), Das Barbecu (Brunnhilde – Footlight Award), Stellaluna (Stellaluna+), Papa Wa Kazoku no Yojimbo (Susan), Good Night Moon (Ensemble), Menopause the Musical (Iowa Housewife), and many merry seasons with Forbidden Christmas. Vickielee has toured throughout the US, Japan, and Europe and can be heard on commercial radio, with vocal ensemble Modern Angels, and numerous original cast albums.

Eric Jensen* (J.D. Sheldrake)
This is Eric's 5th trip with Showtunes! having appeared as Luis in Dancing with Time, The President in Dear World, Oscar in On the 20th Century, and Jupiter in Out of This World. Regional credits include: Sweeney Todd at 5th Avenue, Evita, South Pacific and Man of La Mancha at the Village Theatre, and here at KPC as Sweeney Todd in Sweeney Todd: In Concert for Eastside Musical Theatre.

Frances Leah King* (Marge MacDougall)
Frances is overjoyed to be Marge in Promises Promises, with Showtunes! and to once again be working with some great people! Frances’ past Showtunes! appearances have been; Anyone Can Whistle, 110 in the Shade and Do I Hear a Waltz? She is frequently seen in productions at the Village Theatre, and will soon be in their production of Little Women. She loves her most challenging job; motherhood. Love to LB and ML

Kyle Fitzgerald (Dr. Dreyfus)
Kyle is thrilled to be making his "Washington" theatrical debut with Showtunes! Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Kyle is a Bay Area Theater Critics “Shelly Award" winner (supporting actor in Me and My Girl) and three time nominee (Phantom in Kopit/Yeston’s Phantom and Peron in Evita.) He also appeared Off-Broadway in Star Crossed Lovers. Favorite roles include; Maximilian in Candide and Pirelli in Sweeny Todd. Kyle would like to dedicate his performance to his partner of 16 years, “thank you for encouraging me to jump back in!"

Natalie Moe (Vivian Della Hoya)
Natalie is delighted to be performing with Showtunes! She graduated from Northwestern University in 2002 and is grateful to be working/playing in her hometown of Seattle. Favorite roles include Lilli/Kate in Kiss Me, Kate, Sister Hubert in Nunsense, Chastity/Reno Sweeney US in Anything Goes, featured soloist in Swing! and My Way – A Tribute to Frank Sinatra, and Diana Dream/Delores Delores in On the Town. Up next: Rossum’s Universal Robots at Open Circle!

Audrey Fan (Miss Wong/Lum Ding Hostess)
Audrey has worked with numerous theater companies in Seattle. Favorite roles have been Connie and Val in A Chorus Line, Louise Bigalow in Carousel, an “egg” with the Honolulu City Ballet (the egg did to a dancing chick). Her favorite musicals as a choreographer are Mystery of Edwin Drood and Pippin. Mahalo to David and Maggie with Showtunes! for this opportunity.

Loretta Deranleau (Miss Polansky)
Loretta is happy to be back with Showtunes! after appearing in Dear World exactly one year ago. She was most recently seen in Federal Way as the Ghost of Christmas Present in David A. Austin’s A Christmas Carol and as Olympe in A Flea in Her Ear. Loretta has performed steadily for the past 20 years at RCT, EMT, BLT, PSMT and VO, to name a few. Thanks to DEH for including me in this awesome cast! Love always to Lee!

Laura Abel (Helen Sheldrake)
After participating in ... It's Superman! onstage and Dear World backstage, Laura is very honored to be involved with Promises, Promises and is excited about the opportunity Showtunes! Theatre Company gives to our community by bringing these wonderful musicals to the stage once more. Past favorite roles include; Rose - Gypsy; Golde - Fiddler on the Roof; Reverend Mother - Nunsense; and of course most favorite as wife to Mark and mother to Travis and Corey!

Sydney Lanier (Peggy Olson)
Sydney Lanier is pleased to be making her Showtunes! debut with Promises, Promises! It feels fantastic to be on stage once more. Previous favorite roles include; Cinderella in Into the Woods, Corie in Barefoot in the Park, Mary in Merrily We Roll Along, and Hope in Anything Goes. Much love and many thanks to her family and friends, especially those who have to live with her.

Erin Sprow (Sylvia Gilhooley)
Erin is positively giddy to be returning to the KPC stage once again for Promises, Promises after joining the circus in Barnum last spring! Favorite roles include Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical the Musical (SMT) and Mama Noah in Children of Eden (CLO). Other credits include, Blue Plate Special (Centerstage), Two Gents (TAG), Voices of Christmas (Artswest), Ragtime (CLO) and the workshop reading of Saint Heaven for Village Theatre Originals. Thanks to the cast, crew, Evan & Ryan.

Leonard Piggee (Dobitch)
Leonard comes to Seattle after 19 years in Hawaii. There he won a Po’okela for his portrayal of Daddy Warbucks in Annie and directed and played Memphis Lee in August Wilson’s Two Trains Running. On Broadway he appeared in Dreamgirls, Showboat, and The Amen Corner. He played in National Tours of the above as well as, Eubie!, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Your Arm's Too Short To Box With God, and Godspell. After gaining tenure as a public school teacher he promptly retired. He is now a substitute teacher.

Mark Abel (Jesse Vanderhof)
Mark is thrilled to be back in his 4th Showtunes! production and equally happy to share the stage for the 13th time with his wife Laura! He is positively certain that as his wife watches him onstage she realizes that he is indeed ACTING like a philandering husband! Right?! Right!? Mark can next be seen as the Cowardly Lion in Northwest Savoyard's production of Wizard of Oz. Thanks again to David-Edward, Maggie, and Mark for letting him join in on the fun once again!

Ryan McCabe (Eichelberger)
Promises, Promises marks Ryan’s second appearance on the Showtunes! stage, having previously been seen here last season in the ensemble of Barnum. Other local credits include Seussical the Musical, The Baker’s Wife, Children of Eden, and Big! with SMT/CLO; and Saucy Jack & the Space Vixens with BS Productions. Thanks to David, Maggie & Mark; the family; Team POF; Sprow (#5!); Bacharach & David (my heroes!); and (as always) Chandler.

Doug Fahl (Kirkeby)
Doug returns to Showtunes! after having appeared in Barnum and Dear World. Doug just finished starring in a feature zombie movie called Zombies of Mass Destruction, due out next fall. Doug has performed in many area theaters, including Seattle Repertory, Village, Civic Light Opera, Eastside Musical Theater, Arts West, Con Works and Annex. He graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Utah. You can find out more information about Doug at www.dougfahl.com.

Jon Lutyens (Karl Kubelik)
Jon appeared last year with; Seattle Public Theater  in Travesties, ArtsWest in Pinocchio and Gifts of the Magi, Wooden O in The Merry Wives of Windsor, Centerstage in The Mystery of Irma Vep, and the 5th Avenue's AMT tour Klondike, the Great Alaskan Gold Rush! Although this marks his first appearance with Showtunes!, faithful KPC subscribers may remember him from KPC's own production of The Music Man as Prof. Harold Hill.

Nicole Elise (Cast Intern)
Nichole is delighted to be making her debut with Showtunes! and is thrilled to be working on this project. She will be graduating from the Theatre department at Cornish College of the Arts in May with a BFA. Favorite productions at Cornish include: The Beggar's Opera and The Cider House Rules. Outside work includes a Vern Fonk commercial and various characters in a short sketch comedy series called The DT Show or DT T.V. Nichole's next work will be performing in The Pajama Game in April at Cornish.

Andrea Dennison-Laufer (Cast Intern)
Andrea is incredibly excited to be making her professional stage debut in Promises Promises. She has been doing musical theater for 14 years and will be graduating from Cornish College of the Arts this May with a BFA in theater with an emphasis on singing. Some of her favorite roles have been Lucy Lockit in The Beggar’s Opera, Andrea in The New Cherry Sister’s Modern Vaudeville Extravaganza, Candy Kendall, Billy Winkle, and John Wilbur in The Cider House Part One: Here in St. Clouds. She can currently be seen as the head banging girl in the video shadow ensemble in Seattle Shakespeare Company’s Julius Caesar. She wants to thank everyone involved in Promises Promises for making her experience as wonderful as possible.
